Bintan Lagoon Resort, Lagoi

My stay at the hotel was a bit mixed. While the rooms were old and rundown, they were at least clean. The service was friendly and helpful overall, but there were some communication issues. The location was not ideal due to ongoing construction nearby, but it offered opportunities to explore with provided drivers. The dining experience was average with a limited selection, and the facilities were sufficient. However, the value for money could be better.

The buffet breakfast had a good spread, although the rooms could have used a 'spring clean'. The service was a bit of a rollercoaster; while some staff members like Cica W were very nice and accommodating, others seemed disinterested and inattentive. On the bright side, we were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary Jazzy Brunch due to our return ferry schedule. The location was fantastic, right beside the sea with a vast private beach, and lush green surroundings, perfect for exploring the area or just relaxing by the pool or the beach. Dining options were varied but not really value for money, with added service charges and taxes making the experience less enjoyable. The hotel's facilities were adequate but could be improved in certain areas.
